The Philadelphia 76ers have enjoyed a hot start to the season, but it has become increasingly evident that they likely won’t be in the NBA Finals with the team they have now. The 76ers are projected to be one of several teams in the Bradley Beal sweepstakes this season.
There’s no doubt about it that Bradley Beal will be traded to a contending team on or near the NBA trade deadline this season and the 76ers should be on the phones calling about him right now.
Adding Beal to their roster that includes Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and Joel Embiid would give the team a good shot at contending for the NBA Finals in 2021. There would be no shortage of perimeter shooting while gaining a dynamic shot creator to elevate the half-court offense.
Ben Simmons really needs a superstar player to put him under his wings and Bradley Beal could be that guy. The 76ers may have to give up a pick and a solid young player like Matisse Thybulle, but it will be worth it if they end the season in the NBA Finals.
