Why This Trade Would Benefit The Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic have some decisions to make regarding their roster. They have to determine where they want to go and who they want to commit too. The Magic have some strong wing players. If Vucevic is moved, this means they will be relying on their talent in the backcourt.

Terrence Ross is averaging 16.5 points per game, and he is doing it off the bench. Ross has played seven games and has not started one of them. Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon are other big-time players that have a chance to keep improving.

Markelle Fultz is a player who the Magic felt good about this season before his injury. Losing Vucevic would be tough but they would get back Capela, a center who knows how to play on a team dominated by guards.

This would be an interesting deal to see the Magic pull off. If they do, then the team has made a clear decision on the path they would like to go moving forward.
