This Kings-76ers trade would feature Buddy Hield to Philadelphia

Why The Trade Benefits The Kings

When a player is unhappy with his current situation, it benefits both parties to part ways as soon as possible.

That is what is going on in Sacramento with Hield at the moment. Well, that was the belief in the offseason, but things might have changed.

Sacramento opted for Bogdan Bogdanovic last season on the perimeter over Hield. With Bogdanovic in Atlanta, the Kings have returned to their sharpshooter, but the damage might be done. They would be getting Green back in this deal to replace Hield on the perimeter. They would also land some draft capital which could help them put more players around Fox.

Most notably and definitely most intriguingly, Matisse Thybulle could come in and be a starter long-term as well. He is a top-notch defender and could be exactly what the Kings need to help improve their perimeter defense.

The Kings would be able to get rid of a large contract and an unhappy player if they sent Buddy Hield away. Right now, Philadelphia seems like the perfect trade partners and the best fit for a player like Hield.
