This Lakers-Magic trade pairs Aaron Gordon with LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers won an NBA championship last year and still entered the offseason with the intention of improving. That is a winning mentality from a franchise that is interested in building the next great dynasty. They could add an intriguing wing in this deal.

The Lakers made some improvements this offseason. It began when they traded for Dennis Schroder. They sent Danny Green back to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the deal. Los Angeles continued by signing Montrezl Harrell away from their crosstown rival in free agency.

As if this was not enough, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis signed long-term extensions to remain with the Lakers. This means they will be competing for championships for many years.

If the Lakers are still looking to add wing pieces, the Orlando Magic have some options. Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon are off to hot starts for Orlando. Terrance Ross is another wing off the bench who can score at a high rate for the Magic. In this trade, Gordon would be on his way to Los Angeles to give the Lakers some more weapons on both sides of the ball.

This would balance the Los Angeles Lakers’ offense even more than it already is. Here is a deal that could land Aaron Gordon in Los Angeles prior to the deadline.
