This Knicks-Wizards trade features Bradley Beal as New York’s next centerpiece

The New York Knicks have come back down to Earth after playing well through the early part of the NBA season. It is time to start considering trades for a big name, something that the team has failed to accomplish in recent years. The Washington Wizards could be the perfect trade partner for a team like the Knicks.

The Wizards dealt John Wall to the Houston Rockets during the offseason. If they want to completely clean house then they could look for a trade partner for Bradley Beal next.

Washington is off to another poor start this season which has been par for the course for the franchise. They have been near the bottom of the Western Conference for a few years now and that is not going to change anytime soon. It might be time to do a complete rebuild.

This is where the Knicks could take advantage. Beal is the superstar name that the team could use. They have been linked to many stars in recent years but have not been able to land any.

With Leon Rose in the front office and Tom Thibodeau on the sideline, New York is heading in the right direction. Players like Julius Randle and R.J. Barrett have been off to strong starts this season. Beal is a player that can change the culture immediately.

It will be interesting to see if Washington decides to completely clean house and change directions. There is only one way for that franchise to go and it is up. Here is a deal that could land Bradley Beal in New York.
