This Celtics-Hawks trade gives Boston an intriguing center option

The Boston Celtics are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference and have been for many NBA seasons now. The Atlanta Hawks our team trying to get to that level but have some work to do if they want to contend. These two sides can get together for a deal that would help immediately.

The Celtics could use some help in the frontcourt. They were knocked out of the playoffs because of their lack of size and ability down low. The Celtics added Tristan Thompson in the offseason but did not make any other moves to improve the unit. This is where they could look for a trade. They did not make any moves during the NBA Draft despite having three first-round picks.

The Hawks could be the perfect trade partner for the Celtics. This is a franchise that is looking to build around Trae Young for the future. He is quickly turning into a dynamic point guard and one that the franchise believes can lead the way.

John Collins is another name the Hawks would like to hold onto unless they get the right return. If the Celtics are looking for a big man, Clint Capela could be the answer.
