Why This Trade Would Benefit The Houston Rockets

James Harden is clearly disgruntled and showed it all throughout the offseason. If the Houston Rockets is able to get rid of a player like this, it would help them immediately. The new-look front office could look to make a blockbuster deal to help new head coach Stephen Silas.

The Rockets are clearly heading in a different direction. They have given Harden plenty of time to try and win but he has not been able to during his time in Houston. It is now time to move past this phase and into a new one. Wall and Christian Wood are off to hot starts this season.

This trade would give them NBA Draft picks for the future but also some players that are ready to contribute right away. D’Angelo Russell is a star player with great experience in the starting lineup.

This move would point Houston in the right direction and help them moving forward. This is a team that would still be a postseason contender without hard and if they were able to land the right returned. Minnesota could offer that to them right away.
