Detroit Pistons

If a team that wants to trade for Coby White wants a plug and play guy, then they could go after White and use him in this role. The Detroit Pistons could be a team that trades for Coby White and starts him at point guard immediately.

While this doesn’t necessarily help White’s development, he would get playing time right away. The Pistons are currently starting Derrick Rose, but to land Coby White, the Bulls may want a reunion with Rose in return.

The Pistons have already made it clear that Killian Hayes is their future at the point guard position, but he’s currently injured and could miss quite a bit of time.

White could play a great role with the Pistons’ offense while Hayes is injured and could prove just how good of a player he is. Maybe White needs to be the focal point of a team in order to succeed which a move to Detroit could do for him.
