Why Trade Would Benefit The Toronto Raptors

Kyle Lowry has given the Toronto Raptors his all for a long time now. He is one of the best players in the team’s history but all good things must come to an end. Toronto is in a position to rebuild around younger players at the same position.

Fred VanVleet is the player being talked about here. He has all the skills that Lowry possesses and could keep the Raptors near the top of the conference without missing a beat. Patrick Beverley would be a nice backup point guard off the bench to score a little bit and play tremendous defense.

Marcus Morris has turned into an offensive weapon and he showed that with the New York Knicks before being traded to Los Angeles last season. That could give the Raptors a needed spark going forward.

If the Raptors feel like mixing it up a bit, they can make a splash by trading Lowry to a contender. It would be interesting to see the effects that it would take on both teams.
