Why This Trade Would Benefit The Sacramento Kings

The benefit for the Sacramento Kings in this trade is easy. They are acquiring one of the best big men in the league and someone who is off to a raging hot start to the 2020-21 NBA season. This is a franchise-changing move that can finally send Sacramento in the right direction.

De’Aaron Fox and Embiid have a chance to be one of the best duos in the league. This is a core that will attract free agents and put the Kings in a position to win right away.

When looking at what they are giving up, Buddy Hield is a player who has been unhappy for a year now and has been thrown around and NBA trade rumors all offseason. Marvin Bagley III could use a change of scenery given his mediocre play this far with the Kings.

There are no bad words to say in regards to the Kings in the trade. If the Philadelphia 76rs are willing to do it, Sacramento should run to the phone to accept.
