This is a trade that would feature two NBA teams heading in very different directions. The Boston Celtics are looking to compete for a championship while the Sacramento Kings need to rebuild their roster. Together, they could help each other as they move toward the future.
For the Kings, much of the emphasis placed on them in NBA trade rumors have been Buddy Hield. His on-and-off voiced displeasure with the organization has kept him from staying out of trade ideas. Most recently, Marvin Bagley III has entered into the mix.
Instead, the Kings could go look for another deal involving a veteran player to get a return that would help them grow. They have a franchise player in De’Aaron Fox and it would make sense to put as many good players around him as possible.
The Celtics are a team that has been in win-now mode for many years. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have this team at the top of the Eastern Conference and that will not change for many years. They need some help in the frontcourt which is something they looked for during the offseason.
Both the Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics have many options to make a trade. Here is one that could potentially have both sides this season.
