5 star trades we’d love to see that would shake up the NBA

Every season, there are plenty of NBA trade rumors that get thrown around revolving around star players and the possibility of them joining up in attempts to win a title. There are plenty of teams like this that already exist around the league and while some hate to see All-Star level players unite with one another, as it is seen by some as “taking the easy road” to a title, it definitely makes for some great basketball.

Over the years, we have seen some incredible players pair up with each other and win a title(s) as we had Shaq and Kobe in Los Angeles, LeBron, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, and even the powerhouse the Warriors had a few years back with Kevin Durant joining a team coming off a 73-win season.

Some of the best teams in NBA history were created by superstars joining forces and playing together and in today’s NBA, nothing has changed. GM’s around the league are always busy trying to put together trade packages to land All-Star level talents, as the NBA is possibly the most competitive it has ever been from a front-office standpoint.

There are plenty of superstar-level players who are available via trade right now, but the question that remains is how much are teams willing to pay in-return for them? Any player is available for the right price and as a result, we could see plenty of big names hit the trade market near the trade deadline and hopefully, see some trades that could shake things up in the league. Let’s take a look at 5 superstar trades we would love to see that would completely change things in the NBA.

It’s been a good 2023-24 NBA season for the Oklahoma City Thunder. As of this writing, they’re on top of the Western Conference. That alone

Rockets Trade Proposal Lands LaMelo Ball From Hornets

Every team in the NBA needs a franchise player. They’ll know when they have one. Sometimes, their franchise guy ends up being somebody other than
