The Toronto Raptors have gotten off to a shaky start this NBA season as the team has mustered just a lone victory through their first six games. The Raptors have some solid pieces on their team right now, but they’re going to need to trade for a big name if they hope to be getting back to their winning ways anytime soon.
The Raptors need to acquire a big name star to pair up alongside Kyle Lowry and there’s a slew of talent available they could go after. The Raptors are averaging 106 points per game but they have allowed teams to rag doll them this season and have given up on average 110 points.
Toronto is so close to being contenders in the Eastern Conference and by acquiring a big-name star they could get right back in the mix. The Raptors may have to give up a young star and some NBA Draft compensation, but if they want to utilize their talent while they have it, they better do something quick.
The Raptors currently sit at 14th in the Eastern Conference Standings and they still have a roster that could easily be contending for an NBA championship. The Raptors have managed to land some big names via trade before and if they could land another one they could get a similar result as they did when they landed Kawhi Leonard a few years back.
