The one dynamic trade target the Miami Heat should pursue

The Miami Heat put together a remarkable season last year as they entered the playoffs down in Orlando as the 5-seed in the Eastern Conference and made it all the way to the NBA Finals. They became the first 5-seed in NBA history to make the NBA Finals, but things didn’t go as they had planned in their matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

In Game 1 of The Finals, both Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo got hurt in a blow-out loss and things did not look good for this team as Jimmy Butler was all that was left. They did not go down without a fight though as the Heat made the series interesting, but without Dragic and Bam not at 100%, the Heat did not have enough firepower to take down the Lakers.

This season, the Miami Heat return almost everyone from a season ago and they added Avery Bradley as a veteran presence in the backcourt. With some young, talented players like Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, the Heat seem like they could easily make a run at making back to the NBA Finals, but could they use some of their young assets as trade bait for another superstar player?

Bradley Beal is a player who has had a lot of NBA trade rumors circulate around him this offseason and while the Washington Wizards may not want to trade him, especially after trading for Russell Westbrook, the Heat could offer a pretty interesting trade package to land the 2x NBA All-Star. Washington has struggled early on in the season and could definitely use some young and talented players to build with moving forward.

Let’s take a closer look at a potential trade that would send Bradley Beal to Miami and team up with All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
