This Bulls-Sixers trade would send Coby White to Philadelphia

The Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers have been featured in NBA trade rumors for very different reasons. In this deal, it wouldn’t be for the names many would expect. Instead, it’s Coby White who is featured.

It’s no secret the 76ers have been linked to players like James Harden but it is unlikely that a deal gets made at this point. The front office has made it clear that they are not interested in trading Ben Simmons or Joel Embiid so they could opt to add another piece with them.

The 76ers are off to a hot start to the 2020-21 NBA season— winning five in the first six games. It could continue on near the top of the East with a trade such as this one.

As for the Bulls, they have not been viewed as buyers but as sellers. Both Zach LaVine and Lauri Markannen have been featured in trade talks but it could be their young prospect Coby White who gets moved. This would allow the team to continue to build around LaVine and put pieces around him in the future.

This is an interesting trade that would help both sides but also in very different ways. Let’s take a look first at what it might take to get the deal such as this one done.
