Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Bucks
Milwaukee just traded for Jrue Holiday this offseason and they now have both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton locked up for the foreseeable future, so why not go out and grab another All-Star like talent in attempts to win as many championships as you can now? This organization is in a position in the Eastern Conference that adding one more high-level talent could vastly separate them from the rest of the competition.
Adding a player like Zach LaVine could do wonders for this offense and make them virtually impossible to guard. Teams already have an extremely hard time guarding the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, but having three All-Star talents around him would basically be unfair. No matter who you would guard, the Bucks would have an answer on the offense end of the court.
The only time this team would lose with LaVine is when they just are not knocking down shots, which will happen once in a blue moon. The addition of LaVine gives Milwaukee four players who could go for 20+ points on any given night and the best part about this trade is that it would give the Bucks four unselfish All-Star talents.
With the Bulls, LaVine has been a pretty ball-dominant player, but he has had to be because of how bad they have been. Their only chances to win over the years was when he had the ball in his hands because nobody around him was capable of scoring in bunches like he could.
With guys around him like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Middleton, and Holiday, LaVine could easily take a step back and be a secondary option for Antetokounmpo. Everything with this team revolved around the back-to-back league MVP and the story would be no different this year if they were able to land the high-level guard from Chicago.
