Golden State Warriors Receive: Joel Embiid, Seth Curry

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, 2021 1st Round Pick (via MIN), 2022 1st Round Pick (via GSW), 2025 1st Round Pick (via GSW)

The Golden State Warriors already have a point guard in Stephen Curry so they would opt for a big man in this trade. Joel Embiid going to Golden State would certainly surprise the NBA. The Warriors would also get Seth Curry back in the deal to team up with his brother.

This trade will not be cheap for Golden State. Wiggins is their biggest trade piece right now and has been featured in many NBA trade rumors. In exchange for a player like Embiid, the Warriors would also have to part ways with rookie James Wiseman and some first-round NBA Draft capital.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal would benefit both sides immediately.
