Why This Trade Would Benefit The Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic sets the tone for the Dallas Mavericks’ half-court offense with his dynamic scoring and facilitation ability. Outside of him, the Mavs have some depth on the perimeter but nothing that stands out. This is where Derrick Rose would come into play.

Josh Richardson is a three-point threat while Jalen Brunson will provide valuable minutes off the bench. Rose proved that he is still able to score in the league. Putting him at point guard would allow Doncic to play off the ball and take some pressure off.

Rose would not be viewed as the primary option on the offensive end but would be able to set everything up accordingly. He is the perfect veteran to join the team and act as a coach on the floor.

This is a move to point Dallas in the right direction. Every team has to be well-balanced and strong in the backcourt. Even with Doncic, it seems like the Mavericks are still one piece away.
