Why The Trade Benefits The Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets is a team that has made some big changes to the franchise. They have a new-look front office along with new head coach Stephen Silas. They already began making changes to the roster when they sent Russell Westbrook to Washington. James Harden could be the nest man out.

It always benefits a team to send away a disgruntled player in a trade. Harden has requested a trade and even provided a list of preferred destinations. He missed workouts and games at the beginning of the preseason but has been on the floor since.

In exchange, Houston would add another cornerstone player in George. He would take over as the centerpiece of the team, along with John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins. Morris is another productive player who is able to contribute to the starting lineup right away.

The biggest benefit from this trade would be the Rockets cleaning house and sending their franchise in a new direction.
