This trade would send Celtics’ Kemba Walker to the Heat

Why This Trade Makes Sense For The Heat

On the other side of the trade, the Heat need more star power. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are the obvious leaders of this franchise right now. Adding Kemba Walker would not replace them, but would give them the firepower that they needed last season in the NBA Finals.

A starting lineup of Walker, Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Meyers Leonard, and Bam Adebayo would be tough to beat.

Pat Riley is always looking to make big moves. He has done so time and time again throughout his time running the Heat. Walker would be the kind of big move that he likes to make.

Giving up a first-round pick would not be ideal, but it would be worth it to bring in a star point guard like Walker. Andre Iguodala and Kelly Olynyk are valuable role players, but they are tradeable for the right price.

Walker would be a huge addition for the Heat and could make them the favorites to win the Eastern Conference once again. If he bought in and was willing to sacrifice some to win big, this trade could take Miami back to the NBA Finals.
