This trade would send Celtics’ Kemba Walker to the Heat

The Hypothetical Trade

Heat Receive: Kemba Walker

Celtics Receive: Andre Iguodala, Kelly Olynyk, Kendrick Nunn, 2022 First-Round Pick

Should the Celtics actually end up trading Walker, Danny Ainge is not going to make a move just to trade him. He will want a good return that will help Boston compete for a championship. This trade would accomplish that.

It’s not a “blockbuster” trade, but it would be sizable enough to make a difference for both franchises involved.

For the Heat, getting a star like Walker would add a lot more scoring. It would take pressure off of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Walker could score the ball at a high level and he can also create for his teammates.

On the other side of the deal, the Celtics would be getting some much-needed depth. They have one of the worst benches in the entire NBA. Ainge would have to love having more bench depth.

Let’s take a closer look at this trade and why it would make sense for both the Heat and Celtics to pull the trigger.
