This Warriors-Wizards trade is centered around Bradley Beal

After a disappointing 2019-20 season, a season in which Klay Thompson sat out rehabbing from a torn ACL suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals and Stephen Curry sitting out most of the year with a broken hand, the Warriors ended up 15-50 and with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

After news broke about Thompson’s injury, GM Bob Myers and the Warriors quickly scrambled to come up with a solution to Klay missing the entire season and while it will cost them a lot of money this year, the Warriors went “all-in” and traded for Kelly Oubre Jr. Last season with the Suns, Oubre had the best season of his career, averaging 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and shot 45.2% from the floor, including 35.2% from three-point range.

While he is primarily known for playing small-forward, the Warriors will likely move him to shooting guard and have a bigger lineup with both him and Andrew Wiggins in the game at the same time. With the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, the Warriors hit it big by drafting center James Wiseman, who will also have a big impact on this team’s chances for success this season.

However, the Warriors have not looked good to begin the season, losing their first two games and struggling a lot offensively. Andrew Wiggins has struggled early on and if this team is going to have any chance at contending this season, they are going to have to be willing to make a big move.

Bradley Beal has been a player that has been brought up all offseason long in trade talks with the Warriors, but the main question that remains is if the Wizards are willing to trade him. Let’s take a look at a trade that would send Bradley Beal to Golden State.
