This Knicks-Nets trade would send Spencer Dinwiddie to MSG

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are both fully healthy entering the 2020-21 NBA season, which is bad news for the rest of the NBA. With these two guys healthy and plenty of high-level players around them, the Brooklyn Nets are without a doubt one of the team’s to beat this NBA season and one of the favorites to win the 2021 NBA Finals.

The most intriguing thing about the Brooklyn Nets this upcoming season is that they have talent up and down this roster. At every single position they can go two to sometimes three guys deep and have plenty of regular season experience and championship experience on their roster.

With Kyrie and KD out last year, Caris LeVert stepped up for this team in a big way and has emerged as their third scoring option on offense. In 45 games last season, Caris LeVert took a major step in his career and averaged 18.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and shot 42.5% from the floor, 36.4% from three-point range.

Leading the Nets last season, Caris LeVert looked like a potential NBA All-Star and had a lot of impressive performances. Ahead of the NBA shut down, Caris LeVert scored a career-high 51 points on 17-26 from the floor against the Boston Celtics. Only six times during the regular season did LeVert fail to score in double figures and look to build off of last year to elevate the Nets into title contention.

Spencer Dinwiddie also put together a great season for the Nets and while the Nets would likely hold off on trading anybody from this roster right now, especially since they look to be one of the best teams in the league, the Knicks could offer an interesting trade to acquire Dinwiddie.

Let’s take a look at a trade that could send Spencer Dinwiddie to the New York Knicks in exchange for two young, high-level players with a lot of potential moving forward.
