This Rockets-Warriors trade forms a Stephen Curry, James Harden duo

The Golden State Warriors opened the NBA season with a blowout loss to the Brooklyn Nets. It was apparent that they could use some more help on their team for Stephen Curry. Pushing to execute a trade for Houston Rockets superstar James Harden is something they could acquire through a trade moving forward.

The Warriors took a big hit when Klay Thompson suffered a torn Achilles. He will have missed two consecutive full-seasons as a result of injuries— making it difficult to rely on his availability. Draymond Green missed the opener with an injury but he doesn’t push the envelope by any stretch.

During their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors started players like Andrew Wiggins and Eric Paschall. While they are strong role players, Stephen Curry could use some more help. In a trade like this, he would get just that.

James Harden has been linked to teams like the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers during the offseason. The Houston Rockets have not moved him just yet. Other teams have gotten in on the action and the Warriors could be a surprise team. This would create one of the top duos in the league.

It would be interesting to see Stephen Curry and James Harden team-up. Here is a potential trade that could make it happen.
