This Mavericks-Wizards trade features Bradley Beal to Dallas

The NBA season has begun and there are still some big-name players who could be on the move. A team that has made a big splash already is the Washington Wizards. They still have one player available who can be put in a blockbuster deal and the Dallas Mavericks should inquire.

Bradley Beal is still in Washington after John Wall was sent to Houston. The Wizards were able to get back Russell Westbrook to pair with Beal in the backcourt. This duo is extremely intriguing for the Wizards, who are looking to find their way back into the postseason after a long hiatus. If they were to trade Beal at this time, they would get a nice return in hopes of building around Westbrook.

One team to keep an eye on is the Dallas Mavericks. It has been rumored that the Mavericks are looking for another star to team up with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. They were able to clinch a playoff spot last season and will look to take the next step in the Western Conference.

Doncic is an NBA MVP candidate while Porzingis has a chance to complement him well, the addition of Beal would further solidify the Mavericks’ roster. Dallas would essentially have a ‘big three’ in Dallas.

This deal would certainly be a big splash that impacts both conferences. If Washington in Dallas were able to get a deal done, it might look something like this.
