This Kings-Wizards trade forms a Bradley Beal, De’Aaron Fox backcourt

Why the Trade Benefits the Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings opted for Bogdan Bogdanovic in favor of Buddy Hield last season. He was supposed to be the piece alongside De’Aaron Fox but he recently signed a free agent agreement with the Atlanta Hawks. This was after a sign-and-trade deal with Milwaukee fell through.

This caused some disgruntled feelings coming from Hield. As of now, nothing has happened between the two sides but if he were to be sent away for Beal, this would benefit the Kings greatly. Fox already looks like a franchise point guard.

Adding Beal to the mix would completely improve the group. He is one of the top scorers in the league and seems to get better every year. In 2019, Beal played 57 games and averaged 30.5 points per contest while shooting 35% from three-point range.

Beal is a game-changing player. He has been by himself in Washington recently while Wall was injured. Alongside Fox, Beal would be the start of creating something in Sacramento.
