One intriguing trade to send James Harden to the Miami Heat

Why the Trade Benefits the Houston Rockets

It has come to the point where the Houston Rockets must trade James Harden. The relationship is ruined and talks have been out of control. They already sent Russell Westbrook away which means they are clearly heading in a different direction. Houston gave Harden a chance to win and he was unable to so it is time to move on.

If they are able to get the return in this deal, it is a no-brainer. Houston has a chance to compete right away with John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins running the show. If they were able to put players like Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Kendrick Nunn around them then they would certainly be a playoff team.

Andre Igoudala and Kelly Olynyk would bring more of a veteran presence and plenty of postseason experience to the Rockets. Two first-round picks just top it all off.

This is almost too much of a return to turn down if you are Houston, especially when giving up a player who wants out. There have been many teams linked to Harden and if the Heat emerge, this could be a potential deal.
