Why the Trade Benefits the Miami Heat

James Harden to the Miami Heat would be a next-level move for the Heat. This is something that they are accustomed to in their history. If Harden were to come over, it would not be cheap but Miami would also get some other rotation players added to the mix.

A big three of Harden, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo would certainly be something to marvel at during the upcoming NBA season. Miami is one of the most stable franchises in basketball. If there is a team that could make this work, it would be the Heat.

Looking at the other pieces, Ben McLemore and House are players with great shooting ability and a fearless nature on the court. House has great size and can get to the rim and finish in the lane. During the finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Heat was able to see how they stacked up. It was clear that they were just one step behind.

With the Lakers only improving, the Heat could look to add another superstar in hopes of overtaking the title. It will be interesting to see if they are one of the surprise teams in on Harden moving forward.
