The Utah Jazz have one of the best duos in the NBA on paper with Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert providing needed intangibles. However, if the team didn’t want to pay big money to both players, the Boston Celtics appear to be a logical trade suitor for Gobert.
Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have been teammates for sometime now. There have been talks of their relationship being on the rocks which has caused some to believe that we go bear could be treated.
In a guard driven league, the Jazz were never going to send away Mitchell and they made that clear with his massive contract extension. He is clearly the future of the organization is on track to be one of the NBA’s top talents over the upcoming years.
The Celtics should be one of the first teams on the phone for Gobert. They entered the offseason in need of help in the frontcourt and Gobert is exactly the type of player they would benefit from having. This would help them moving forward come postseason time.
