4 bold predictions for Washington Wizards entering 2020-21 NBA season

The Washington Wizards were one of the most aggressive teams this offseason as they pulled off the biggest trade of the year, acquiring former NBA MVP Russell Westbrook from the Houston Rockets in exchange for John Wall and a lottery-protected 2023 first-round pick. Not only did the Wizards win this trade by a wide margin, but they may finally have a solid backcourt partner with Bradley Beal that can finally get the Wizards back to their winning ways.

Westbrook pairs up with Bradley Beal forming one of the most explosive duos in the NBA and after the season Beal had last year, anything is possible for this team.

Last season, Bradley Beal averaged 30.5 points, 6.1 assists and shot 35.3% from three-point range. He was snubbed from making the All-Star game and was not named to any of the All-NBA teams at the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.

Entering the 2020-21 NBA season, Bradley Beal will have a chip on his shoulder to prove all of his haters wrong and with one of the league’s top point guards by his side, he should have no problem achieving what he has set out for himself. The Wizards also drafted highly-sought out draft prospect, Deni Avdija, who has all the potential to be a Rookie of the Year Candidate this season.

This year’s Wizards team has a chance to be special given their two All-Star talents in the backcourt and could wind up having the biggest turnaround from last year in the NBA.

With that being said, let’s take a look at 4 bold predictions for the Washington Wizards entering the 2020-21 NBA season.
