All eyes have been on the Houston Rockets trading away their superstars this offseason, but this trade involves another big name it has been in NBA trade rumors. Buddy Hield and the Sacramento Kings have taken a backseat in the rumors but he is still an intriguing name on the trade market.
The relationship between Hield and the Kings has been rocky since last year. Hield was moved to the bench in favor of Bogdan Bogdanovic after signing a lucrative contract in the offseason. Bogdanovic is now in Atlanta but Hield could still be on the move out of Sacramento.
The Rockets already made a big splash when they sent Russell Westbrook to Washington. Rumors have it that Harden still wants out of Houston but the Rockets could choose to keep him around and add Hield to the perimeter.
Houston has been an organization that likes to shoot a lot of three’s in recent years. Who knows how the offense will look with new head coach Stephen Silas but either way, Hield is a valuable product.
