Victor Oladipo was mentioned in a ton of trade rumors this offseason, but he will start the season with the Indiana Pacers. The team may want to see if they can convince him to stick around long-term if they like what they see from him early in the year. However, there is always still a chance that Kevin Pritchard could consider trading Oladipo.
A lot of that will depend on how Oladipo looks to start the season. This is his first full season back following a gruesome quad rupture. He looked rough in the limited action that he saw last season.
Speaking of last season, Oladipo ended up playing in 19 games with the Pacers and started in 16 of those appearances. He averaged 14.5 points per game to go along with 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists. Oladipo averaged 17.8 points per game in the four playoff games the Pacers played against the Miami Heat.
Even though there are a lot of concerns about Oladipo’s future, he is confident that he will come back stronger than ever. His confidence has never wavered throughout this entire process.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four teams who should still consider making a push to trade for Victor Oladipo this year.
