This Bulls-T’Wolves trade gives Karl-Anthony Towns a fresh start

The Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves are very similar franchises heading into the 2020-21 NBA season. Both teams are looking to make a jump back into the playoffs. However, they both may need to make some moves and Karl-Anthony Towns could be a player that would bring these two teams together.

Over the last couple of years, there have been rumors and reports that Towns might want out of Minnesota. He wants to compete and the Timberwolves have been unable to help him towards that goal. If the Timberwolves do make him available for trade, the Bulls could very well be one of the top potential landing spots.

Last season with Minnesota, Towns put together another big year. He averaged 26.5 points per game to go along with 10.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists. Along with those numbers, Towns shot 50.8 percent from the floor and knocked down 41.2 percent of his three-point attempts.

Towns is one of the best big men in the entire NBA. Any team would love to have the opportunity to acquire him. However, the Bulls acquiring him could very well put them in contention for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at a potential trade between the Bulls and Timberwolves that would feature Karl-Anthony Towns.
