Atlanta Hawks Will Make The NBA Playoffs
Atlanta Hawks fans, the wait is finally over because your team is making the playoffs this year. They had one of the best offseasons out of any team in the league and after solidifying their starting rotation, as well as bolstering their bench, the Atlanta Hawks are in a position to be a team nobody wants to face late in the year.
This team has the potential to be a 5-8 seed in the Eastern Conference and could be a lower-seeded team who pulls a monumental upset in the first-round of the playoffs. Their pure-scoring abilities and perimeter-oriented style of play will make the Hawks a team that will force opponents to outscore them, something many teams in the league will not be able to do.
Trae Young and John Collins finally got the help they needed this offseason and it is just hard to imagine that this team won’t make the playoffs. Just from their starting rotation alone, the Hawks will likely get about 85-95 points per game and with some of the high-level shooters they will have coming off the bench, the Atlanta Hawks will be able to outscore a vast majority of the teams in the league, regardless of defense.
Looking up and down this roster, it is very clear to see that shooting is the main strength of the 2020-21 Atlanta Hawks and will carry them throughout the season. The Hawks have great shooters, great defenders, and a great young head coach in Lloyd Pierce, who is ready to show what he can do with a legit roster in the Eastern Conference.
It would come as a shock to many, but this team has the ability to blow out expectations and potentially be one of the Top 5 teams in the Eastern Conference this season. Trae Young is a special player and much like how many doubted the abilities of some current NBA stars, Young is receiving the same doubts and could lead his team to success quicker than many predicted.
