Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are preparing to run it back with the Philadelphia 76ers. While they are still around, the team did make quite a few changes this offseason, with the hiring of Doc Rivers being the biggest change. If they are unable to figure things out and compete to start the season, could they consider making a trade with the Chicago Bulls?
Rumblings throughout the offseason connected the 76ers to a potential Zach LaVine trade. They never ended up getting too far in trade talks, but flipping Simmons to the Bulls could get something done.
That’s right, we’re talking about a potential Simmons trade to the Bulls that would bring LaVine back. It would be a risky move, but one that makes sense.
One of the glaring issues with Simmons’ game is his inability to shoot the ball. That has made things difficult to play him at point guard, where he is best suited to play. LaVine is a more than capable shooter.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at an extremely intriguing blockbuster trade that would split the Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid duo and send Simmons packing to the Bulls.
