The Los Angeles Lakers were able to grab a championship down in Orlando. They recently signed LeBron James and Anthony Davis to long-term extensions that will keep them around in hopes of building the next great dynasty. Heading into the season, the Lakers have made it clear that they are looking to improve even further.
The Lakers made a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire Dennis Schroder to run the point. This is the position, if there was any, that they lacked last season.
With Rajon Rondo now in Atlanta, the Lakers could look to add more depth at the top of their offense. This is where Aaron Holiday and the Indiana Pacers come in to play.
Holiday is a trade piece for the Pacers, who could look to add some NBA Draft capital at a deal such as this one. They were able to qualify for the postseason and have a nice core of talented players, and this could continue if they build further to the draft.
If the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers decide to make a deal such as this one, it will not shock the world but it would benefit each team immediately.
