How the Trade Benefits the Houston Rockets
If the Houston Rockets end up deciding to move on from James Harden, they will have no shortage of intriguing trade packages to consider. The Chicago Bulls certainly appear to be among the short-list of teams that could field a solid offer.
Zach LaVine would immediately provide the Rockets with a shooting guard that can put up a high volume of points. It would go a long way for Houston’s efforts of staying afloat after a potential trade featuring Harden.
With John Wall shouldering the starting point guard role, the Rockets would have Coby White behind him on the depth chart. It would help to have bolstered depth at this spot when considering Wall’s recent health history has been full of major injury.
The trade value that Houston can net in a deal that features Harden will remain strong no matter what. However, it could decrease if the former NBA MVP ramps up his antics and diminishes the leverage the Rockets hold in the situation.
