The Hypothetical Trade

Kings Receive: Paul George, Ivica Zubac

Clippers Receive: Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III, Richaun Holmes, 2021 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick

Now this is a trade that looks very intriguing on the outside looking in. Some may not believe the Clippers are getting enough out of this deal, especially with the king’s ransom they had to pay to acquire George in the first place.

However, Buddy Hield has become an elite sharpshooter and can create his own shot. Bagley would give the Clippers an upgrade at the center position. L.A. did just lose Montrezl Harrell in free agency, which could make this trade even more intriguing.

De’Aaron Fox and George would be a fun duo to watch for the Kings. They could make Sacramento a team to watch in the Western Conference.

Obviously, this trade would only happen if George struggled to open the season or if the Clippers think they need to make a move to win the NBA Finals. But, let’s take a closer look at the deal for both sides and why it would make a lot of sense.
