3 intriguing trades for Lakers to consider before NBA season

The Los Angeles Lakers have already made some moves to improve their team even more heading into the upcoming season. They are looking to repeat as NBA champions and these moves could help them accomplish that goal.

First, signing both LeBron James and Anthony Davis to contract extensions was the most important part of the offseason. They both signed lucrative deals that will keep them in Los Angeles long-term. Now, the Lakers can put the right players around them in hopes of continuing to win.

Los Angeles improved their point guard position when they made a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder for Dennis Schroder. They sent Danny Green to Oklahoma City in that deal, and he eventually ended up in Philadelphia. They signed Montrezl Harrell in free agency and added Wesley Matthews.

We are less than three weeks away from the opening game of the season, but the Lakers might not be done making moves.

Here are three trades to keep an eye on for Los Angeles prior to the season.
