After a year demolished by injury, the Golden State Warriors landed the second pick in the draft and used it on James Wiseman to bring some depth at the center position. Golden State was looking forward to competing right away with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back on the floor, but Thompson is out for the year with a torn Achilles. Could they turn their attention to acquiring a shooter like the Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson to pair with Curry?
With Curry back at the point guard position, the Warriors will once again be one of the top teams in the Western Conference. They are going to be back to being an exciting, must-watch team every night.
Andrew Wiggins will have to step up and play an extended role this season. They could also look outside of the organization for a potential trade. Robinson could be a name to keep an eye on.
Last season with the Heat, Robinson ended up averaging 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. He was one of the top sharpshooters in the game at 44.6 percent from the three-point line.
If the Warriors feel the need to make a deal before the regular season, this is one to keep an eye on with another potential championship team.
