4 teams who should look to trade for Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma

Dallas Mavericks

Perhaps the most intriguing team on this list would be the Mavericks. They have two legitimate superstars in Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. However, Kyle Kuzma could come in and start at power forward with Porzingis sliding up to the center position.

Once again, there would be some risk with this move. Kuzma struggled to find his game behind two superstars in Los Angeles. This situation would be a bit different.

Kuzma would be able to handle the ball a bit more. The Mavericks are looking for a player who can come in and take pressure off of Doncic and Porzingis. They had interest in Danilo Gallinari, but that didn’t end up happening.

Being able to add Kuzma would be a similar pickup for the Mavs. Kuzma can put the ball on the floor and shoot the three. He would be a nice fit for the system in Dallas.

Depending on the price, the Mavericks are a team that should strongly consider pursuing a trade with the Lakers for Kuzma.
