Season Outlook

It is easy to say this Brooklyn Nets team is going to be very good, but the question that remains about this team is how healthy can they stay. Their two star players, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are coming off some major injuries and their health is definitely a concern in the back of the minds of the Nets’ front office. The best thing the organization could have done this offseason was to surround them with plenty of options and talent, which is exactly what they did.

The Nets will have plenty of depth this season and if someone goes down, it will be next man up because they have about 9 guys who can all easily score in double-figures on any given night. Not many teams around the league can say this, which is why Brooklyn is a legit championship contender.

It is not a matter of asking if the Nets will make the playoffs, it is a matter of how far will they make it in the Eastern Conference. No team will want to play them in the playoffs and fully healthy, there is no team in the league that can match up with them given the firepower they possess.

In a regular 82 game season, the Nets are looking at 55-65 wins and a win percentage of about .750. The sky’s the limit for this Nets roster and it is definitely championship or bust in the minds of all of the players, coaches, and front-office executives for Brooklyn.
