Both the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets have unfavorable contracts on their books between Andrew Wiggins and Russell Westbrook. Each player still has three years remaining on their current contract but Westbrook is set to earn $11.8 million more in 2020-21.
The Warriors would need to factor in a few smaller salaries to better match the $41.3 million salary that Westbrook is set to earn. Players like Kevon Looney and Jordan Poole could certainly help to get that done by sending them to the Rockets.
