Miami Heat

Pat Riley is the mastermind in the Miami Heat front office and if there is one thing we can always count on him to do, it is to go after big name players who want to contend for championships. Although the Heat already have a franchise center in Bam Adebayo, Myles Turner can play by his side at power-forward.

That is the one position on the floor that the Heat are vulnerable at as they do not have a true power-forward and oftentimes have Jimmy Butler or Andre Iguodala playing there. By bringing in another legit big man, who is one of the premier shot blockers in the league, the Heat not only become one of the league’s best defensive teams, but a team that should lead the league in blocks per game.

Bam and Turner down low for the Heat would cause headaches for head coaches around the league and with the success the Los Angeles Lakers have with playing two big guys at the same time, the Miami Heat could replicate this formula to get back to the NBA Finals and contend for a championship.

The Miami Heat are always looking for ways to improve their roster and with a player like Myles Turner potentially available, the Miami Heat should do everything they can to try and bring him to their organization. He is an incredibly versatile big man who can not only open up the floor on offense for the Miami Heat, but give them yet another legit threat in the post.

Myles Turner, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler, along with the young shooters on the wing give the Miami Heat an extremely dangerous team to guard and one of the league’s best defensive big man duo since Bob Wallace and Rasheed Wallace with the Pistons.
