Brooklyn Nets Receive: Otto Porter Jr., 2021 1st Round Pick

If the Brooklyn Nets are seeking to keep their salary cap situation open for next offseason, pursuing a large expiring deal like Otto Porter Jr.’s would be a logical option. He is set to earn $28.4 million and is in the final year of his current contract with the Chicago Bulls.

While Porter Jr. has struggled to stay healthy as of late, he is a highly efficient complementary offensive threat and would fit seamlessly alongside Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. This would be an intriguing ‘buy-low’ option.

The Chicago Bulls have sought to add a veteran point guard as they do not view Coby White as a lead-guard. Making a play for Spencer Dinwiddie would certainly help to address that need while making it much easier to give Patrick Williams heavy minutes on the wing.
