The potential fit for Aaron Gordon in a complementary role is less than ideal when considering his regression as a perimeter shooter. Regardless, his on-ball defense and athleticism could be an intriguing option for the Brooklyn Nets to add into the mix.

Something to take into consideration is that Spencer Dinwiddie isn’t a proficient perimeter shooter either. With three scoring options clearly defined in the offense, placing an emphasis on defense could be a more impactful option.

As for the Orlando Magic, they took a chance on Markelle Fultz and he showed some intriguing signs. Dinwiddie was more impressive when he was afforded a substantial playmaking role for the Nets last season.
