Memphis Grizzlies Receive: Buddy Hield

Sacramento Kings Receive: Justise Winslow, Gorgui Dieng, 2021 1st Round Pick (via MEM – Top 5 Protected)

The Memphis Grizzlies could look to add another star in the backcourt along with Ja Morant. Memphis came close to the postseason during the restart but lost the play in game to Portland. Buddy Hield would go along way and improving their lineup.

This deal also depends on what kind of return the Sacramento Kings would want for their marksman. In the trade with Golden State, they would receive second-round NBA Draft capital. In this deal, they have a chance to land a first-rounder. Memphis will not be picking at the top five which means Sacramento would add another first-round pick.

Sacramento has a chance to send Hield to a team that is equal to them. That is another aspect of this deal that makes it attractive.
