Pacers Receive: Evan Fournier, 2021 Second-Round Pick

Magic Receive: Victor Oladipo

Fans in Indiana may not love the idea of this trade from the outside looking in. Oladipo is still viewed as a franchise player and All-Star by most Pacers fans. However, there is a very real possibility that the former explosive guard will never return to his old self.

From a fit perspective, this makes a lot of sense for the Pacers. Fournier would bring more shooting to the lineup and would fit nicely alongside Malcolm Brogdon in the back-court.

As for the Magic, they would be taking a one-year risk on Oladipo. If he returned to his old self, they would be an intriguing playoff team. They would be making this move hoping to figure out how to convince Oladipo to re-sign next offseason.
