4 ideal trade suitors for Wizards star John Wall

One name that has surfaced in trade rumors in recent weeks is John Wall of the Washington Wizards. Wall apparently has requested a trade out of DC and the Wizards are looking into granting his wish.

It was rumored that Wall and Bradley Beal would try to recruit free agents to Washington. Apparently, that is not true given the recent circumstances.

The Wizards have re-signed Davis Bertans to a long-term contract and still have Beal out on the perimeter. Wall is not a part of the long-term plan as they are rebuilding and he has a recent history of injury.

During the 2018-19 season with the Wizards, Wall averaged 20.7 points, 8.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. He only played in 32 games before injuries knocked him out and he missed all of last year due to injury.

Wall has spent his entire career in Washington and now it is looking like a change of scenery will help him. If this indeed moves forward, these four teams could call Washington and inquire about the former No. 1 overall pick.
