Pistons Receive: Mike Conley, Royce O’Neale, 2021 Second-Round Pick via Golden State, 2023 Second-Round Pick

Jazz Receive: Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose

This deal could make sense as well for both teams involved. Conley would be coming back to Detroit, which would give them a point guard to build around. As for the Jazz, they would be getting two potential stars to play alongside Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.

Obviously, this deal would be a win for the Jazz. They need to find more talent to play with Mitchell and Gobert. Adding Griffin and Rose would get that job done.

For the Pistons, this might be a bit tougher to accept. They wouldn’t be getting a true star back in this deal. Conley is solid, but he is 33 years old and his numbers simply aren’t what they used to be.

Quite simply, this would be the least likely deal the Pistons would consider. It would give them two future second-round picks and O’Neale is a solid role player and Conley only has one year left on his deal. That would open up some cap space for the Pistons.

The main reason Detroit would consider this deal is for financial relief. If that is something they are interested in, this could work for both teams.
